Sacred Revolutions: The Unfinished Axial Promise – Universalis #21

Aviv Shahar with Karen Heney and Kyriaki Nikandrou

December 19, 2025
One of the greatest mysteries of all time is the God-human, human-God relationship. Throughout history that relationship has had several key patterns.

The main story popularized through many religions, is that God created us humans, and that we are evolving to come closer to the image of God. An alternative story propagates that humanity created the concept of God, which we continue to evolve, whereby we refine our consciousness. There are several other stories in between.

Our attempt here is to include and integrate all these paradigms through the life verification system of knowledge. Through these lenses, this current epoch can be seen as a profound initiatory program, one that we humans get to participate in. As we help emancipate the Human Project, we get to liberate the evolution of life.

This episode is the second part of Universalis #20: The Future Human, where we explored five pathways of validation to verify knowledge, inviting us to a whole person discovery. In this episode, Aviv Shahar, Karen Heney and Kyriaki Nikandrou, together with a circle of Portals friends open “9 Contemplative Premises” that trace the evolutionary journey of the human model from a planetary-oriented human, to a sun-like being, and then to the universal human that is now emerging.

In this evolutionary context, the words “Axial Religions” and “Christ divinity” gain new depths of meaning. They represent the culmination of the appearance of “Homo Solaris”, a human being who is prepared to align to higher than planetary ideals, to engage with sun natured energetic permissions, conductivities and capacities.

Highlights from the conversation include:

  • Life itself has an inherent teleology in which we humans get to participate.
  • This evolutionary journey progresses through seven distinct “natures”, each associated with one of the seven rainbow wavelengths. Each color carries a unique developmental impulse and evolutionary potential.
  • The way people in antiquity experienced the rainbow, fire, the natural elements, the life of a tree, was different.  They were more porous to the elemental forces of the planet.
  • The axial religions prepared humanity for a pivotal shift: transitioning from being primarily Earth-oriented (Homo Earthus or Homo Planetus) to embracing the potential of becoming “Homo Solaris”.  Sun divinity is represented by “Christ” as the illuminating source.
  • The human capacity to renew itself forever and ever with new inspiration, is sun-like in nature.

This episode continues the Universalis journey into the evolving frontiers of human consciousness, coherence, and capacity, where knowing becomes a living force, and validation is no longer abstract but deeply alive in the experience of life itself. Each religion was inspired in its beginning by some core essence, by some energetic quality, and everything that we study in the scriptures, ceremonies and folklore in the various traditions, are all layers and enclosures that come after that originating essence. Very much like a cathedral that is built to house a special presence.

From an early age there has been a compelling search for truths, those realities that didn’t have a fixing or a closed door. The quest for meaning, sometimes quiet, other times reaching and finding pathways, has always accompanied me. The awareness that all life is caused to exist for an inherent purpose, one that allows for the possibility of furtherance and refinement, has prompted both perceptions and questions. These concern the purpose of human life, its integration within greater domains and what I personally may need to discover in order to play my part. Creativity has always been integral, with an endeavour to create visual interpretations of concepts as practical activities. The intention behind a current project is to broaden the paths of relevance and meaning for others to access and explore.

When I was a child, staring at the starry night skies, I was filled with awe and wonder, about the mysteries of the Universe, Life, Time, the Human and its place in the Cosmos, trying to connect the dots that link everything with everything… Some years down the line, I still do. I am seeking to be in conversation with others in search for keys, for tools of understanding and application and for the real questions, the ones that become portals to contemplative journeys, leading to uncharted territories that feel like home. I believe we are on a trajectory of multiple and unpredictable changes; it is up to each one of us to rise to the challenge of our times. Now, more than ever before, is the time to be true to ourselves and fulfill our potential.
