Poetry is a pathway to express and feel the deep, inner journey of change, rebirth and expanding consciousness at the heart of personal and collective transformation.

For the poet, the capacity for wonder is a gateway, a portal to the experience of what it is to be alive.

Every person is a live portal. We are all coming online for life: to be awakened, and transformed, and revealed.

Moving from the very small to the very large is perhaps part of the hydraulic lift of poetry, the capacity to soar.

It would be a mistake to compare one poem to another; each is a universe unto itself. What we’re discovering here is the poetry of who we are becoming.
