What is the nature of the liminal space humanity is now passing through and learning to inhabit?
At Portals, we journey into the discovery zone between the end of one epoch and the birth of another, seeking to understand its deeper meaning. We suggest that navigating this transition, and unlocking its potential, requires strong grounding in one’s interior topography: the beliefs, values, and principles that shape our inner landscape, alongside an attuned capacity to listen, sense, and respond to what is newly emerging and calling us toward the future.
The Portals project itself has become a living proof of this approach. From the beginning, we committed to following the trail wherever it led. Nearly six years later, the journey continues to expand in unexpected and generative ways. We remain devoted to our core inquiries: into these transitional times; into the evolution of the human model; into the guidance of the Soul; into how we evolve together as community; and into how we extend this exploration beyond the mind into the somatic, the full orchestra of our human design.
In this conversation, Aviv Shahar and I reflect on that unfolding journey, and he illuminates one of the most vital dimensions of what Portals is cultivating: the creation of a living plasma of possibility. As we deepen our inquiries and continue to generate across these many domains, an energetic plasma builds around the work – one that attracts further intelligence, insight, and revelation. This becomes especially palpable in our live gatherings, when friends from around the world bring their own lives of inquiry into a shared ecology of cross-pollination and discovery. The larger the community grows, the more powerful the connective possibilities become.
Aviv often speaks of this project as a “love letter” to his grandchildren and to future generations, an offering of our very best to the world, grounded in a conviction in humanity’s innate and limitless potential. In this sense, Portals is an approach to the human project itself.
We are grateful to have you with us on this journey.
I'm not saying everybody is prepared to enter this mystery school, but people who are waking up all over the world into this mystery school, they may use different language, different names, they are discovering that they need to step into it on their own, as individuals, as self-authored, fully agentic humans. And then, inside it, actually connect with others, because the project is a distributed, collective project.
