democracy are being challenged, Mark explores the mechanisms needed - from the ground up - to build an economy that is truly sustainable and equitable.

I think our mission was to come out and address a systemic problem in capitalism, which is that the most powerful institutions in the world are driven by profit margins. And if we want to create a sustainable and equitable planet, we need to create a sustainable and equitable economy. And, in order to do that, there are a lot of things that need to happen. But one of the critical things absolutely is that businesses each measure and account for their social and environmental factors.

Mark is the CEO at MovingWorlds, a social enterprise that helps companies scale their social impact programs by engaging employees. Mark is an RSA Fellow and is a founding adjunct faculty member and lecturer on Corporate Social Responsibility at the University of Washington Tacoma's Center for Leadership and Social Responsibility.
