Throughout history, the great questions have been asked, and great research has been undertaken, always expanding the territory of the known by shining a light into the unknown. Where is that cutting edge today? And can a community of people from all over the world, each carrying their own unique journey of discovery, come together to inquire at the edge of purposeful evolution, through dialogue and interaction? We think it is possible, and we hope that you will choose to be a part of this exploration.
Here we present Part 3 of the Practice of Listening with Presence Event.
In this online event, Aviv Shahar takes us through the process and practice of becoming a better listener. Step by step, at our own timing, we can now have a closer look at the inner workings, and inspirations, behind this rich and beneficial practice.
If you are practicing any version of mindfulness you will know that this is part of the practice. When you catch yourself preoccupied on the inside, you don't punish yourself, you just release it. You let go and you come back into the present moment to be fully in the listening space. And it's easier to do when we call over in ourselves the appreciation, or the value, we have for the circumstance, or for the person we are speaking with. It's a muscle. It's a practice.
