Portals Practices are a wide array of activities and processes that can enhance wellbeing, inner balance and harmony.

Practices help us integrate our inner lives and awareness, and connect to our natural creative potential. We’re also tuning our lives to the greater intelligence, strength and support that is always available to us.

This simple practice allows us to stretch our comfort zone and expand beyond what may be our habitual responses to a variety of life situations we encounter. Each one of us can connect to higher intelligence and creativity and choose how we engage with and respond to any circumstance. A good example is with the polarities we see around us every day. Push/pull, left/right, fear/confidence. We don’t need to pick sides — it’s not one or the other. We can rise above apparent opposites and choose a better way forward. The polarity tuning practice demonstrates through several examples how we can fully experience a duality, but with the awareness to choose how we engage and respond.

Steps

  • Step 1: Clear a mental and physical space for a time of contemplation
  • Step 2: Review the recording and the ways different polarities can be experienced
  • Step 3: Select your own polarity to experience and discover
  • Step 4: Allow yourself to fully experience each side of the polarity and register the physical, emotional or mental feelings or impressions that come up
  • Step 5: Visualize the natural human capacity to ‘tune’ ourselves and elevate our awareness and response in any circumstance, and to rise above the appearance of polarity
  • Step 6: Choose with intention how to engage with and respond to the polarity you selected

It's quite amazing how effective these seemingly simple exercises are in discovering the range of wonder alive in us. And the ease in which the movement occurs between those two different states. It's not only effective, but actually doing the work is liberating; I feel much more liberated inside my own inner state. So thank you for that. It's really useful
