How is it possible that a human life can both grow and wither at the same time? Aren’t these opposing forces of nature, heading in different directions? Or consider living and dying. Fundamental processes of life, but with opposite outcomes, right?
Let’s expand our awareness for a moment. What if these core dynamics that shape our lives are not opposites at all, but simultaneous processes unfolding every moment of every day? They depend on one another. And we are not merely passive witnesses to them. We participate. We can choose what to cultivate and what to let wither, what to bring to life and what to allow to fade.
Fortunately, we have meaningful guidance in navigating the truth beyond polarities and dualities in the newest chapter of Current Openings with Aviv Shahar and David Price Francis. Here, they build upon remarkable insights into natural law and Creational Logic explored in Current Openings #27 and #26.
This continuing dive into the nature and dimensions of reality is driven by a practical question: can we move beyond the limits of polarities to discover remedies for the deep divisions and crises gripping much of the planet? Is it still possible to experience healing, genuine community, and the upward lift of our higher universal nature?
Among the many insights and clues in this conversation:
- We can’t run away from polarities on this planet; the more we are aware, the less dualities can control us, and the more we can manage them as a platform of ongoing growth.
- By being willing to reveal our weaknesses, we open ourselves to the strength, brilliance, and creative potential of others in our lives.
- In nature, we can tune ourselves to enduring lines of truth, the primary language of creation, through the patterns and forms creation offers directly: number, shape, and color.
- The interior dimension of what science describes as quantum mechanics is a plasma-state of the soul of the universe, where all possibilities co-arise and co-exist.
- Perhaps Creational Logic is not analytic so much as intuitive – a receiving of understanding rather than a construction of it.
- A polarity is a binary trap that locks us into one side or the other. Its grip is neutralized by a third way, a third intelligence, the capacity to observe both without attaching to either.

In the moment we're able to not be dominated by the identity we’ve formed from the past, but face up to the unknown of the future, we open up expansive opportunity and possibility. We start to look forward to the opening future, rather than thinking it's going to be more of the same.
