Aviv: This is where I get a little metaphysical – we have a choice. Humanity, even the two of us here, but anywhere, anyone, engaged in the conversation of what is the meaning of the changes underway, what is the part where I get to participate and play an influence?
Each one of us. How do I make my contribution whether at a social level, at a political level, at a cultural level, at a family level, as an individual contributing to society as a citizen? We have a choice, I do believe.
The place where we begin to change the world, and impact the greater cosmos, is in how we treat those challenges in our own lives. That can be one way to orient yourself in the philosophical, developmental, spiritual sense, which is that you say,
I choose to live an awake and enlightened life to the degree I can. Therefore I will treat the people around me and the opportunities and the challenges I meet every day in the most enlightened way I can. When I do so, I don't just do it for me and for them, because I want to live an enlightened life. This is also my contribution to the greater cosmos. You can choose to include that as part of your mindfulness, as part of your intent. When you do, the way you interact with life's challenges and opportunities, in a way affords you the opportunity to make that transmission into the collective consciousness that we all are participating in.
Your life, my life, the life of every person, we are a fractal of the whole. If we change the fractal, we change the whole. So a moment there to embrace it in the metaphysical sense.
