study or exploration. So medical doctors become specialists; musicians devote their careers to one composer or period of music.
But instead of mastering a specific skill or single subject, what about the human ability to connect with and express the living essence of many domains or qualities or fields of exploration? Not as a concept or academic notion or intellectual idea, but as an experienced reality?

We have friends who create wonderful music and art and they connect to the essence of music, or art, or dance or writing. That essence lives with them, and then they can transfer it to another person. I've always tried to connect into warmth and care, so that I can live with warmth and care, and care and warmth can find a home in me.
