Throughout history, the great questions have been asked, and great research has been undertaken, always expanding the territory of the known by shining a light into the unknown. Where is that cutting edge today? And can a community of people from all over the world, each carrying their own unique journey of discovery, come together to inquire at the edge of purposeful evolution, through dialogue and interaction? We think it is possible, and we hope that you will choose to be a part of this exploration.
We see it often, and usually are moved or inspired by the beauty and dimensions of this simple, seemingly magical act of nature. Yet do we ever consider that the spectrum of light we see when sunlight refracts in water droplets in the sky — the rainbow — also demonstrates a profound and fundamental law about life itself on this planet?
The natural breakdown of visible light into a spectrum with a specific sequence illustrates that the appearance of energy on this planet is governed by a septenary, a seven-fold principle that we can find refracted in nearly every dimension of life on Earth. Visible light breaks down into the seven familiar rainbow colors, and visible light itself is one of the seven electromagnetic waves of radiation on this planet; there are seven notes in a traditional musical scale. Seven natures and stages are everywhere. It's a core process.
Interesting, yes; but beyond that, why should we care? We can trace the influence of the spectrum and seven-fold principle on the growth and evolution of the human species throughout history. This epoch of time can be seen as a natural progression through the spectrum, red through violet, with each frequency influencing civilization, culture, and human behavior in a different way.
Understanding the spectrum influence — a universal principle — on the past will transform how we make space for the new epoch now onsetting, our future.
We delve much deeper into the seven-fold governing principle and its ongoing influence on this culminating epoch in human history in the latest chapter in the Portals Series The Homo Universalis Project, with Aviv Shahar, Karen Heney and Kyriaki Nikandrou.
Among their insights:
- We can see the seven-fold system at play in our personal life, relationships, and spiritual or communal endeavor. Anything brought to life on planet Earth will naturally follow a seven-fold evolution process.
- We have an amazing capacity to perceive, internalize and appreciate multiple dimensions: the physical and visible, and the subtle and invisible. They are not separate, but interpenetrating realms.
- The human of today not only has the perspective of the modern era’s profound scientific discoveries, but also is neurologically different because of its dramatic evolutionary process.
- We can trace our development through the spectrum, from arisings in red, through expanding and realigning to new purpose; renewing, regulating and integrating; until merging and transferring into a new epoch.
- In a seven-fold energy system, the yellow influence realigns and reorchestrates, and finds a new organizing principle that will rewire and update the space to what it is today.
- There are an authentic, whole human progression, development, and evolution: the human of the ancient world and the human of today are not the same human.

The human faculty has the capacity to come to know in ways other than by exterior measure — the instruments of the telescope and microscope, and the laboratory of experimentation. The most profound universal laboratory is the human system itself.
