As we continue our trace through this culminating epoch of planetary and human history, we focus on the appearance over the centuries of what could be called a “green,” or regenerative, impulse. Whenever humanity appeared to be entering the Dark Ages, or a very unhealthy or diseased condition, sooner or later, a savioral endeavor or regenerative impulse would appear through individuals, or groups of people, in various places around the world.
Another aspect of the green influence is individuation – the permission to be individuals and release your fullest potential as a human being. If green is like a rejuvenating in-breath for humanity, how does it show up? What are the human activities that allow the green potential to express and reinvigorate, rejuvenate, and revitalize human life?
In this conversation, Aviv Shahar and Jeff Vander Clute trace the appearance and major themes of this culminating epoch of planetary and human history, and the possibilities for humanity in evolution’s emerging and unfolding new wave.
We can also approach this in the broader sense of being a human on an evolutionary journey, with this idea that I get up in the morning and I get to practice being a better version of myself today than I was yesterday. Because, by my birthright, or your birthright, each of us is given the permission today to create a new draft.
