Throughout history, the great questions have been asked, and great research has been undertaken, always expanding the territory of the known by shining a light into the unknown. Where is that cutting edge today? And can a community of people from all over the world, each carrying their own unique journey of discovery, come together to inquire at the edge of purposeful evolution, through dialogue and interaction? We think it is possible, and we hope that you will choose to be a part of this exploration.

a new self
A core belief all along the development journey, especially as we grow older, is that it’s possible to give birth in ourselves to a new arising, an emergent truth or awareness that can transform and renew our lives; in a sense, we can “rebirth” ourselves. We can have the consideration that our tomorrows need not be just a continuation of today.

It’s making space in a life of intention and purpose for perceptions and dimensions of human possibility that are new and novel – an ongoing evolutionary process of discovery.

This series of conversations explores the attitudes, perceptions, behaviors and strategies that will enable us to not just continue, but accelerate growth and development in a life journey of continually unfolding possibility.

I'm trying to engage your intuitive sense about an unoccupied, unpopulated space, and that space is not just out there. That space is right here inside you, inside me, and in-between us. That is a space that's emergent. So emergent space is a space and permission - not crowded with everything that was. When we talk about giving birth to a new self, we are talking about moving into such a space.

I recently retired from a successful and fulfilling Information Technology career growing and supporting a Fortune 100 company.  A critical goal, shaping the entirety of my professional career was effective life balance between family and work. I started exploring religion and developing my search for truth and meaning during my teen years when I first attended Catholic Mass. My inquiries have since taken two pivotal turns: when a former colleague introduced me to the Unity movement and when I discovered the writings of Thich Nhat Hanh and the precepts of Buddhism.
