A different approach to understanding what a balanced life might actually mean is to try and think of ourselves as not one life, but three. There is the life we are born with, our foundational awareness and consciousness. There is also the life we build out of our experiences, choices, the places we go and the people we meet – essentially the space we carve in the world. And within every person is the seed of a universal life, connections that bring us intelligence and understanding beyond the ordinary. It’s the life in us, our life in the world, and the potential of a universal life.
They can offer each other support; they can teach each other; they can empower each other with skills. The proposal here is that living a balanced, whole life, a whole person's life, is one where one is not consuming the others.
This series of conversations will weave a loom of considerations about a balanced life, and look at the inner awareness, technologies, and perceptions that can help us access and get back to a life of balance, harmony and growth during times of change and challenge.
True success is in applying our life in the world as a learning pathway, and development laboratory, in which our work and the contributions we bring to our fellow humans helps us foster and nurture the life in us and the universal life.
