How do we know what we know? How do we validate that our sources of our knowing are reliable?
One practical test asks: Do the practices drawn from this knowledge foster sustained well‑being, or do they diminish it? Can the study of natural laws liberate us into a more potent agency for life? For example, how might the Trinitarian principle help us see the core patterns of existence and the way the universe works?
These questions gain new urgency as the human search for truth becomes a universal impulse — a spiritual drive to join the co-creative act of the universe in its search to discover itself, to authenticate itself through the witnessing of our lived experience.
In Universalis #19, Aviv Shahar, Karen Heney, and Kyriaki Nikandrou deepen the inquiry begun in “Universalis #18: How Do We Know What is True and Real?,” where they explored seven modes of knowing and the nuances of third‑, fourth‑, and fifth‑person perspectives.
Their new conversation reframes the verification challenge as a larger quest: uniting science, spirituality, and philosophy while honoring their distinctions, and cultivating life’s natural validation. Five key elements surface in this search for an integrated system — among them the study of natural laws (Creational Logic). Aviv offers an original view of the Threefold Trinitarian principle, illustrating the “law of three” through multiple examples that reveal its esoteric mechanics and phenomenology. He also outlines 16 dimensions in which a whole‑person living inquiry can yield tangible benefits — greater well‑being, vitality, creativity, resilience, self‑agency, and more.
Studying natural laws and the universe’s workings is meant to liberate us, tethering us to the natural unfolding process of life, so that life itself verifies its truth through us.
Additional insights include:
- You may be holding a permanent line inquiry for years, to the point where it works in you even when you’re not thinking about it. Because it is potently coded in your unconscious, it continues to work for you and offers its yield on its time.
- When we converse with another person or a group of friends, a whole new world comes alive that we wouldn’t be able to access alone. We form a collective intelligence web, each holding a node on which higher knowledge can land.
- Working solely for results differs profoundly from working in the service of a larger cause and allowing results to flow from that orientation.
- “The esoteric life isn’t about perfection; it’s about stepping into the arena of experimentation and learning. The times I fell on my face and learned to rise again offered vital moments of verification.”

What we know as children is different from what we know in our elder years. Why? Because life happens in between that completely changes our perspective, the depth of our wisdom and experience, our value of things. As humanity we are also growing up, and there are different levels of knowledge we can now access, if we don’t get arrested and attached or identify ourselves with what we previously knew.
